Bahrain attends GCC meeting

Doha, Oct.19 (BNA): The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) social development ministers convened this evening for their 32nd session in Doha, Qatar. Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan led Bahrain’s delegation to the GCC meeting. Addressing the session, he underlined Bahrain’s keenness on promoting cooperation between member states, and exchanging successful practices

Doha, Oct.19 (BNA): The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) social development ministers convened this evening for their 32nd session in Doha, Qatar.

Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan led Bahrain’s delegation to the GCC meeting.

Addressing the session, he underlined Bahrain’s keenness on promoting cooperation between member states, and exchanging successful practices to develop social work.

He highlighted Bahrain’s contribution to joint Arabian Gulf work in line with the directives of the GCC leaders, stressing commitment to implementing strategic policies and plans that achieve development goals.

The minister stressed the importance of sustainable social development on the basis of justice and equality to ensure social welfare, commending the efforts of social development ministries to achieve aspirations and confront challenges.
