Expo Milano opportunity to project Bahrain worldwide

Manama, (BNA)– Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) held a press conference at Bahrain Fort Museum on Bahrain’s participation in the international exhibition Expo Milano 2015. The kingdom will take part with a pavilion that will showcase Bahrain’s agricultural heritage. The event will continue for six months starting from May 1.

BACA President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa said in a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that Bahrain’s participation in Expo Milano 2015 is vey important to highlight its rich cultural and agricultural heritage. The pavilion, she added, will feature various programmes, including henna decoration, Arab coffee, designing baskets, making wooden boxes, folk music, Bahraini cuisine and displaying agricultural artefacts dating back to the Dilmun civilisation.
