Manama, (BNA) – Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) expressed gratitude for the vital support provided by the wise leadership, as it is an active partner in the process of development and economic reforms.
The BCCI commended the high level of cooperation with the executive branch to create a competitive economic and investment environment, stressing efforts to strengthen its role in representing the Bahraini private sector.

BCCI’s President Khalid Abdulrahman Al Moayyad and Board members, following the meeting with HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, said that the talks were at a very high level of transparency.
The meeting confirmed the leadership’s keenness on ensuring the private sector is well represented and that the BCCI is an active partner in the reform and economic development process.
The board hailed HRH Crown Prince’s resolve to develop cooperation between the BCCI and Development Board to the highest levels.
Al Moayyad said the meeting reviewed topics that interest the BCCI and trade and industrial sector, in addition to discussing the role of the private sector in bolstering Bahrain’s economy.
He added HRH the Crown Prince stressed the significance of overcoming all obstacles to the business sector, promoting competitiveness to support economic freedom and engaging the BCCI in formulating economic decisions.
He said the BCCI is fully aware of its responsibilities and the requirements to help the national economy prosper further.
Al Moayyad added that it would spare no effort in cooperating with the Government and the Economic Development Board to strengthen the private sector.
