Ministry of Health meetings for health specializations in Jordan

Manama: Feb. 24 — (BNA): Ministry of Health (MOH) Assistant Undersecretary for Training and Planning Dr. Hala Ibrahim Al-Mehza’ led the Ministry delegation to the Arab Board meetings for health specializations in Jordan. The three-day meetings discussed several important topics. The Arab Board Secretary-General Dr. Mohammed Hisham Al-Sebai’e inaugurated the sessions, welcoming the participating delegations.

Manama: Feb. 24 — (BNA): Ministry of Health (MOH) Assistant Undersecretary for Training and Planning Dr. Hala Ibrahim Al-Mehza’ led the Ministry delegation to the Arab Board meetings for health specializations in Jordan.

The three-day meetings discussed several important topics.

The Arab Board Secretary-General Dr. Mohammed Hisham Al-Sebai’e inaugurated the sessions, welcoming the participating delegations. The first session discussed topics related to the Arab Board for Health Specializations. The second session discussed the topics of training, years of training to obtain higher degrees, supervision over training in the training centres, accreditation and re-recongition of the training centres, doctors registration in the State of Kuwait, doctors problems with the Arab Board programmes in member countries. The meetings also reviewed the resolutions of the Executive Office regarding the recommendations made by the 12th Joint Advisory Academic Board meeting in July 2013.

The third and final session discussed topics submitted from local training managements, bodies and councils and latest developments. The discussions concluded in positive outcomes to develop training in the Arab Board which ensures the public interest in Arab countries. The meeting was attended by the Director of Training Directorate Dr. Mohammed Khamis Al-Souwaidi and the Head of Training Appraisal in the Ministry of Health Mohammed Ali Al-Manaseer. (IY)
