Manama: Feb. 3 — (BNA): The Shura Council hailed His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty’s wisdom and constant commitment to conservation of the environment and natural resources to ensure healthy human life and the right to live in a safe and sound environment and to protect the rights of next generations.

This came in a statement issued by the Shura Council on Monday during its meeting presided over by Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh on the occasion of the Kingdom’s celebrating its National Day for the Environment on February 4 held this year under the motto: “Together we Protect Bahrain’s Environment”.

The Shura Council applauded the remarkable role undertaken by the Government led by His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister with support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.

The Shura Council also praised the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, commending the constant keenness on the part of His Highness on environmental conservation and protection of eco-systems.

The statement concluded by reiterating that the Shura Council wont’s spare any efforts in order to enact more legislations and laws capable of making the Kingdom of Bahrain a country which enjoys a perpetually clean environment emanating from its keenness on ensuring the interest of the nation and the conservation of the environment for the sake of Bahraini citizens at present time and their future generations.
