HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak receives Writers’ Guild chief

Manama: Feb. 3 — (BNA): Deputy Premier His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received the Chairman of the Bahrain Writers Guild, Ibrahim Bu Hindi and several board members. His Highness congratulated Bu Hindi and his colleagues in the newly-elected board, stressing the important role undertaken by the Bahrain Writers Guild in national issues

Manama: Feb. 3 — (BNA): Deputy Premier His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received the Chairman of the Bahrain Writers Guild, Ibrahim Bu Hindi and several board members.

His Highness congratulated Bu Hindi and his colleagues in the newly-elected board, stressing the important role undertaken by the Bahrain Writers Guild in national issues of public interest which reflects the vivid consciousness of Bahraini community and ancient literary heritage and civilization.

His Highness said that the Government supports all efforts aimed at activation of the constructive cultural, intellectual movement which contributes into the community development and develops the Bahraini cultural and literary message to assume its role, pointing out the importance of speech in boosting suave behaviours in the communities.

The Chairman of Bahrain Writers Guild briefed His Highness on upcoming activities in the cultural scene aimed to honour creative Bahraini writers and intellectuals, including honouring Shaikh Isa bin Rashid Al Khalifa on the occasion of the International Poetry Day.

His Highness praised the poetic and literary accomplishments of Shaikh Isa bin Rashid Al Khalifa, wishing the Bahrain Writers Guild success in their upcoming cultural activities.

Ibrahim Bu Hindi thanked His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister, citing His Highness’s constant keenness and attentiveness to Bahraini writers and encouraging their cultural contributions, reiterating the Writers family appreciates the Government’s supporting and boosting the growth and development of Bahrain’s cultural movement in harmony with His Majesty the King’s reform project.
