Manama, Jan. 30. (BNA) — His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mohammed Sultan Saif Al-Suwaidi at Riffa Palace today.

During the meeting, Ambassador Al-Suwaidi passed a letter to His Royal Highness from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

The meeting examined the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, as well as broader relations across the GCC, which are built on strong, longstanding ties and shared values. In discussing this close coordination and collaboration, His Royal Highness highlighted the UAE’s support for the development of the GCC region, and its positive role in other Middle East affairs.

His Royal Highness extended his well wishes to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and wished the people of the UAE continuous happiness and prosperity.

For his part, the Ambassador expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’ appraoch and for the opportunity to meet with him. He went on to thank His Royal Highness for the continued support he afforded to ties between Bahrain and the UAE.
